Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dom DeLuise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dom DeLuise!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marvin Andrews!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeLuise lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Andrews throws a front kick aimed at DeLuise's knee but DeLuise avoids it well.
DeLuise darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
DeLuise pulls out of a head kick attempt.
DeLuise clobbers Andrews with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Andrews lands a jab to the head.
DeLuise has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
DeLuise is looking to slow Andrews down with leg kicks.
DeLuise feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Andrewss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Andrews scores with a jab to the head.
Andrews on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Andrews shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with DeLuise but DeLuise pushes him off and we're back to square one.

DeLuise rushes Andrews and presses him up against the cage.

Andrews has DeLuise pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Andrews pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending DeLuise tumbling to the mat - Andrews dives into DeLuise's guard.

DeLuise kicks Andrews off and gets to his feet.
DeLuise throws a good cross that connects.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Andrews has managed to clinch.
Andrews misses with the head strike.

Andrews successfully pulls guard.

Andrews is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and DeLuise defends well.
DeLuise is stalling in the full guard.
Andrews keeping moving, preventing DeLuise from controlling successfully.
DeLuise slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Andrews looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
DeLuise showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Andrews looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
DeLuise would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Andrews misses with a takedown

and DeLuise counters with a head kick that drops Andrews to the mat! Andrews scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!


Andrews is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Andrews dives in and grabs DeLuise's left leg, looking for a takedown. DeLuise pushes down on Andrews's head and hops out.
Dom DeLuise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marvin Andrews.
Andrews closes the distance but DeLuise moves to the side
and DeLuise counters with a left and a right... And another left! Andrews is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dom DeLuise!
After winning the bout, Dom DeLuise thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
