The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brumbleroot's head backwards.

and Brumbleroot counters with a nice double leg into side control. Watson won't be happy with that.
Watson can't do much from the bottom here.

Brumbleroot has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Brumbleroot remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Brumbleroot here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Brumbleroot throws the left hand but Watson avoids the punch easily.
As Brumbleroot backs off Watson throws a huge counter combo but Brumbleroot manages to avoid it all.
Watson fails to land with a series of punches.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Watson, as that shot connected.
