Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Walian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Harrass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrass is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tomorrow. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Walian misses the target.
Walian fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Harrass looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Harrass throws a right and a left that both miss.
Walian throws a nice outside leg kick.
Harrass throws the left hand but Walian avoids the punch easily.
Harrass throws a jab when Walian was well out of range.
Harrass throws a hook but Walian blocks it.
Walian tries to counter by clinching up but Harrass breaks away and moves out of range.
Harrass drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Harrass tries to move into full mount but can't pass Walian's legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harrass is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Walian knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Walian is looking for a sweep.

Harrass goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Walian has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Harrass but great work by Walian.
Harrass manages to get back to half guard.
Harrass wants to control but Walian is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Walian is working for a kimura but Harrass is defending it quite comfortably.
Walian seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Walian tries to pass the half guard into mount. Harrass knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walian is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harrass is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Walian pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Harrass wants to hold on but Walian pushes him away.

Walian is nestled in close to Harrass, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Harrass is trying to get back to full guard.
Harrass is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Walian scores with a couple of nice shots.
Walian working over Harrass with some ground and pound. Harrass looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Walian looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Harrass has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Walian is working away from the top position though.
Walian is pressing down on Harrass's thigh, looking to free his foot. Harrass is holding on for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Walian got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harrass has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walian has managed to get both his arms back between Harrass's legs - danger averted.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Walian displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Harrass throws out the jab.

and Walian counters by moving into the clinch.

Walian cracks Harrass with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
