Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emmett Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Aattrox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emmett Austin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dave Aattrox! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Austin fails with the takedown. Austin throws a body shot but no joy. Aattrox is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Aattrox gets a double leg takedown into Austin's guard. Aattrox won't allow Austin to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aattrox wants to control from the top but Austin keeps moving. Aattrox drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Austin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Aattrox has Austin in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aattrox wants to sweep here but Austin controlling him for the moment. Austin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Aattrox is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Austin, into his guard. Aattrox trying to control the position from guard on top but Austin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Aattrox is working Austin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Aattrox slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Aattrox is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Austin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Austin has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Austin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Aattrox dives on top into guard.

Austin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aattrox has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Austin has managed to get both his arms back between Aattrox's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Austin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Aattrox looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Aattrox looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Aattrox! Austin is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aattrox tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Aattrox has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Austin takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Aattrox works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Aattrox trying to control the action but Austin is working from the bottom. Aattrox lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Austin is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Austin is looking for a sweep. Austin is working to avoid the ground and pound but Aattrox connects with a decent elbow. Aattrox tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Aattrox has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Aattrox tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Austin is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Aattrox goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Austin rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Aattrox's guard! Nice work there by Austin! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Aattrox dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Aattrox changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Austin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Austin bucks up and tries to throw Aattrox off but instead Aattrox has got his back! Aattrox has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Austin has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Aattrox is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Austin defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Austin rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Austin works his way to full guard. Good work. Austin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've been informed that Aattrox has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Aattrox lands a couple of digs. Aattrox trying to control but Austin is working from the bottom. Austin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Aattrox is controlling him. Aattrox landing some decent shots from guard. Aattrox thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Aattrox gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Emmett Austin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Austin gets in close and instigates a clinch. Austin fails to pull guard.
Austin tries to pull guard but Aattrox holds him up against the cage and eventually Austin drops back down to his feet.
Aattrox is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Austin can't fight it off and eventually Aattrox manages to take the fight to the floor. Austin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Austin pushes Aattrox off and gets back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Aattrox drives through with a takedown into Austin's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Aattrox has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Austin should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Aattrox has tightened it up now! Austin should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
