Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lasse Alatalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Spiderman. Lasse Alatalo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lasse Alatalo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dean Kane! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alatalo just misses with a punch to the body.
A little jabbing left from Kane on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Kane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alatalo circles away quickly and effectively. Kane keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Alatalo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Alatalo thows a left - swing and a miss! Alatalo needs to keep his hands up - Kane had a free shot at his head there. Alatalo misses with a straight right. Kane throws a shot from downtown. Alatalo moves away and avoids it. An attempted straight right counter from Alatalo misses the target. Kane pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Kane misses with an uppercut. Kane misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alatalo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kane thumps Alatalo with a low kick. Alatalo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Alatalo throws a jab but it's blocked by Kane. Kane lands with a cross. Kane looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Alatalo!
That's one minute gone in the round. Alatalo sneaks back into half guard. Alatalo wants to get back to full guard. Alatalo trying to control but Kane postures up.
Kane performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Alatalo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kane is looking to take a break and control but Alatalo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Alatalo wants to improve his position but Kane is controlling well.
Kane tries to pass the half guard into mount. Alatalo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kane works his foot free and advances to mount. Kane wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Alatalo holds on for dear life. Alatalo avoids a series of strikes thrown by Kane.
Kane throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Alatalo because Kane loaded up on that one. Kane wants to control the pace but Alatalo is squirming around nicely. Kane throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Alatalo because Kane loaded up on that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane avoids the attempt from Alatalo to control. Alatalo is squirming around, avoiding Kane's attempts to control the action. Kane cracks Alatalo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kane goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Alatalo is on top in guard.
Kane is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Alatalo frees his head nicely. Oh but Kane has switched to an armbar! Alatalo is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Dean Kane! In his post fight interview, Dean Kane started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
