5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rock Allen! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Moltisanti. Moltisanti controlling from side mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen is looking to reverse the position. Moltisanti landing a few strikes. Moltisanti staying calm. Moltisanti lands an elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moltisanti lands an elbow. Moltisanti trying to control the position but Allen is working away. Sloppy strikes there by Moltisanti. Allen felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen stops Moltisanti from passing to mount. Allen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moltisanti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Allen tries to get back to half guard but can't. Moltisanti in side control, throwing shots but Allen defends. Moltisanti throwing shots but missing, from side control. Moltisanti is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Allen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Moltisanti has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Allen! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moltisanti lands a big elbow.
Allen is rocked!
It looks like Rock Allen has been cut. Moltisanti swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
