Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Milan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Milan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Dong! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Milan but Milan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nice takedown defense from Milan. No joy for Dong on that attempt. Milan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dong to the mat! Dong manages to get full guard. Milan stands and throws Dong's legs to the side, diving into side control. Milan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dong is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Milan asserts his dominance and retains side control. Milan controlling the position from side mount. Milan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dong keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Milan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dong has escaped the position, nice work there. Dong manages to work his way to half guard, despite Milan's best efforts. Milan passes to side control. Dong is looking for a sweep. Milan tries to move into full mount but can't pass Dong's legs. Milan advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dong tries to hold on but Milan postures up. A nice elbow there by Milan. Milan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dong defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Milan. Milan wants to control the pace but Dong is squirming around nicely. Milan controlling his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dong is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Dong is trying desperately to improve position. Dong wants to hold on but Milan pushes him away. Dong looks gassed! Milan swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dong is now in Milan's guard. A big mistake from Milan there, giving up the dominant position! Milan is looking for a triangle but Dong pushes his legs off easily.
Milan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dong avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Milan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dong is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Milan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dong's back instead. Milan looking to hold on to the position here but Dong rolls and ends up regaining guard.
Dong is trying to control the position but Milan postures up. Milan won't allow Dong to sweep him here. Milan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dong is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dong has escaped and now he's on top! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Milan dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A slow jab from Milan misses its intended target. Milan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dong sprawls well initially but Milan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Milan is looking for a kimura here.
Milan looks to land a strike but Dong avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Dong working for a triangle but Milan defends it easily.
Milan pushing down on Dong's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dong wants to control but Milan is keeping busy.
Milan moves nicely into side control. Milan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dong keeps working. Dong is looking for a sweep. Milan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Milan working away. Milan throws a strike aimed at the side of Dong's head but Dong avoids it well. Dong tries to bench press Milan off him but Milan keeps the position. Milan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Milan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Milan tries to advance to mount but Dong denies him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dong is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Dong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Milan misses with a straight right. Milan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dong uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Milan. Dong lands with a kick to the ribs.
Dong gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Milan counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dong is trying to keep Milan in close.
Dong wants to sweep but no luck. Milan looking to pass the guard. Milan passes into half guard. Milan is controlling the pace.
Dong manages to get to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Milan dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Milan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Milan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dong has escaped the position, nice work there. Milan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dong keeps working. Dong regains half guard. Milan moves nicely into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Milan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dong, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dong gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Milan is working for an americana but Dong has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Milan was thinking about the submission. Milan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dong swivels though and keeps the full guard. Milan wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving. Dong not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Milan wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving. Milan has gone for a leg lock! Dong slips out almost immediately though and dives into Milan's guard. Milan trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Dong is looking to work some ground and pound but Milan has wrist control. Dong drops back looking for a leg! Milan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Milan manages to kick Dong off! Dong jumps back into Milan's guard. Max Milan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dong trying to control but Milan is working from the bottom. Dong thows a big elbow that misses. Milan has Dong pulled in close to control his posture. Milan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dong won't allow Milan to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dong drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dong jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Milan is pulling down on Dong's head to control his posture. Dong wants to control from the top but Milan keeps moving. Milan looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Milan showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Milan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
