Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kirby Cashman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Martin! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Martin has knee on belly and moves into mount. Martin controlling the position easily from mount. Cashman swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. A nice elbow there by Martin. Martin controlling from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Cashman is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Cashman and Martin has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Martin wants to control but Cashman is keeping him busy. Martin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Cashman wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Martin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cashman keeps working. Martin has knee on belly and moves into mount. Cashman flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Cashman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Cashman tries to lock up and control but Martin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Martin controlling his opponent. Martin looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Martin looks gassed! Martin breaks from Cashman's wrist control and lands an elbow. Martin looking to control and managing it successfully. Cashman wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin wants to finish this one by submission but Cashman is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Martin. Cashman is squirming around, avoiding Martin's attempts to control the action. Martin cracks Cashman with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Martin dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cashman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Martin swats away the attempt to clinch by Cashman. Cashman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Martin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Martin content to stall in guard here. Martin trying to control the position from guard on top but Cashman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Martin is breathing heavily. Martin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cashman kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Cashman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Martin is controlling him. Martin stays in close to Cashman's body and controls the position. Martin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. James Martin has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Cashman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Martin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Martin wants to control from the top but Cashman keeps moving.
Despite being in the dominant position, James Martin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cashman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cashman tries to clinch but Martin moves away and Martin counters with a shoot takedown. Cashman fights it but they end up in guard. Martin prevents Cashman from getting back to his feet. Cashman trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Martin trying to control but Cashman is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cashman wants to get back to his feet but Martin passes into half guard.
Cashman could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cashman is staying active underneath Martin, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Martin works his foot free and advances to mount. Cashman really wants to buck Martin off and get back to his feet. Cashman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Martin on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Martin landing punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Martin controlling the position easily from mount. Martin postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cashman looks a forlorn figure.
Martin dominating with strikes here. Martin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Martin lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Martin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Martin avoids the body shot from Cashman.
Cashman closes the distance looking to clinch and Martin counters with a nice double leg into guard. Martin showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Cashman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Martin sitting in guard here, content to control. Martin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Martin working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cashman's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Martin lands a couple of elbows. Martin throwing strikes but missing. Martin content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Martin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cashman works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cashman wants to stand up but Martin is controlling him. Martin stands up from Cashman's guard - Martin perhaps looking for a knockout. Cashman closes the distance looking to clinch and Martin counters with a shoot takedown. Cashman fights it but they end up in guard. Martin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cashman's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Martin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Martin prevents Cashman from standing back up.
Cashman tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Martin manages to move to mount!
Martin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cashman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Martin working Cashman over with strikes here. Martin controlling the pace for now. Kirby Cashman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Martin quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Martin but it's paid off an Cashman is forced to tap! Nice work by Martin.
