Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Noob Saibot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bucky The Badger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Badger has chosen Jump Around as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noob Saibot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
40 - 21 - 5, fighting out of New York, Bucky The Badger! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Badger throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saibot. Saibot throws a hook but The Badger blocks it. Saibot ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Badger moves away. The Badger ducks under a wild hook from Saibot. No joy there for The Badger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The Badger counters with a body kick. Saibot misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from The Badger.
The Badger steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Saibot. The Badger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Saibot.
The Badger throws a body shot but no joy. Saibot swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. The Badger misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Saibot takes a swing at The Badger's ribcage but misses. Saibot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Badger was well out of range. Poor timing from Saibot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Badger wants to clinch but Saibot slips to the side letting Saibot counter with a right hand. The Badger jabbing away but nothing is landing. Saibot lands with a straight right. The Badger didn't see that one coming. Saibot looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Saibot lands with an overhand left. The Badger throws a head kick that misses. The Badger takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saibot swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by The Badger. Bucky The Badger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The Badger does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Saibot blocks a head kick by The Badger.
A momentary lapse in concentration from The Badger enables Saibot to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. The Badger manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The Badger lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. The Badger content to stall in guard here. Saibot has his foot on The Badger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Badger works his way back into a safe position though. The Badger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Saibot throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! The Badger escapes and throws Saibot's legs to the side, diving into side control! Saibot is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Badger controls the position from side control. Saibot is looking for a sweep. The Badger trying to control the position but Saibot is working away. Saibot tries to improve position but can't. The Badger throwing shots but missing, from side control. The Badger working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Saibot sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Saibot has a hand on The Badger's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. The Badger takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! The Badger can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Saibot is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Badger sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The Badger trying to control but he's not successful this time. Saibot tries to reverse the position but The Badger maintains control. The Badger throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Saibot slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Saibot actively working from the bottom here. Saibot looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The Badger performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Saibot manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The Badger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Saibot is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. The Badger is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Saibot wants to sweep here but The Badger controlling him for the moment. The Badger's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Noob Saibot will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Saibot throws a shot from downtown. The Badger moves away and avoids it. The Badger looking to land some kicks to the body here.
The Badger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and The Badger wants it to stay on the feet. Saibot blocks a low kick nicely. Saibot shoots in looking for a takedown but The Badger manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Saibot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. It seemed like The Badger was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Saibot just misses with a punch to the body.
Saibot misses with an uppercut. The Badger saw that one coming. Saibot on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. The Badger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Saibot blocks a head kick by The Badger.

The Badger throws the left hand but Saibot avoids the punch easily. Saibot tries to bum rush The Badger with a series of wild strikes but The Badger uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The Badger clinches. The Badger throws an elbow that misses.

The Badger tries to land knees in the clinch but Saibot avoids the damage to the body. Saibot works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Saibot missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as The Badger holds on and takes a little breather. Saibot loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The Badger working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Saibot. Saibot postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Saibot working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Saibot tries to free his leg and advance position but The Badger is retaining full guard. Saibot postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saibot wants to control from the top but The Badger keeps moving. Saibot won't allow The Badger to sweep him here. Saibot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Saibot with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The Badger utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Saibot in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The Badger working a defensive guard here.

The Badger is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Saibot has his feet on The Badger's thighs here. He's pushed The Badger off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! The Badger screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
