Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Echberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brewer Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Echberg has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Ronnie Echberg could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brewer Money's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Money scores with a crisp jab that stopped Echberg in his tracks.
It looks like Ronnie Echberg has been cut. Echberg is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Money looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Horrible takedown by Money or perhaps it was just good defense by Echberg which made him look bad. Money shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Echberg but Echberg pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ronnie Echberg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brewer Money. Echberg is breathing heavily. Echberg shoots in looking for a takedown. Money tries to sprawl out of it but Echberg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Money manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Money with a lazy takedown attempt and Echberg counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Money trying to hold on to Echberg's head to control him but Echberg postures up.
Money might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Echberg kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Echberg seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Money shoots in for a double leg but Echberg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Echberg takes a head kick and keeps coming.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Money drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Echberg gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Money has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Echberg uses from the top position. Money has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Echberg has passed into side control.

Echberg stands up and beckons Money to his feet. Echberg closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Echberg lands in his opponent's guard.

Echberg scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Money is trying to control Echberg's posture but Echberg avoids it. Money tries to improve position but can't. Money manages to get back to half guard. Money is trying to maintain the position but Echberg is very close to passing his half guard. Echberg is taking a breather. Money says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Echberg thows a huge punch but Money dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Echberg gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Echberg closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Echberg scoring with punches and elbows. Echberg is chipping away with strikes.
Money wants to control but Echberg postures up. Echberg trying to control the action but Money is working from the bottom. Echberg tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Echberg has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Money tries to bench press Echberg off him but Echberg keeps the position. You can see the frustration on Money's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Echberg tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Echberg has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Echberg is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Echberg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Money keeps working.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Echberg instigates a clinch. Echberg is looking to break free of the clinch but Money has double underhooks. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Echberg takes an elbow to the forehead. Money wants a takedown but no success here.

Ronnie Echberg dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ronnie Echberg's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Echberg rushes Money and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Money is pressed up against the cage. Echberg has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Money down to the mat. Money avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Money fails with the takedown and Echberg counters with a nice double leg into side control. Money won't be happy with that. You can see the frustration on Money's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Echberg is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Money knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Money is looking for a sweep. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Money bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Echberg avoids a punch combination nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Money. Echberg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Money tries to clinch up but Echberg circles away and keeps his distance. Money looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Echberg! Money sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Echberg is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ronnie Echberg overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Echberg blocking the ground and pound. Money wants to control the pace but Echberg is squirming around nicely. Echberg is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Echberg bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Money looking to control.
Money tries to land a sweep but no joy. Echberg wants to get up but he can't break Money's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Echberg forces his way into half guard. Money is refusing to be controlled, as Echberg sits in half guard. Echberg sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Echberg wants to stand up but Money is controlling the position.
Echberg stands up from half guard. Echberg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A right-left combo lands from Money.
And that's the end of the fight! Ronnie Echberg showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Echberg, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
