Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Issac Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevica Stevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevic shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stevic showed some decent athleticism there.
Wise is defending against the submission attempts here by Stevic.
Wise looking for submissions off his back.
Wise could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Stevic is working for a kimura but Wise is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stevic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wise does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stevic looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wise taking some punishment here, with Stevic in his half guard.
Wise holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stevic lands a nice short elbow.
Wise wants to improve his position but Stevic is controlling well.
Stevic lands with a punch from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wise is trying to control but can't.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stevic in particular looking to stall.
Stevic trying to control from half guard but Wise is working away.
Stevic not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Wise pushes Stevic off looking to stand but Stevic dives back in and keeps control.

Wise looking for submissions off his back.
Stevic is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Wise looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wise is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Wise looks for a takedown but Stevic sprawls well.
Stevic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wise looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wise tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stevic wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wise is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Stevic asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Wise tries to bench press Stevic off him but Stevic keeps the position.
Wise can't do much from the bottom here.
Stevic cracks Wise with a big elbow.
Wise is rocked!
Wise being controlled for a moment.
Oh Wise is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stevic decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Wise moves out of range of the leg kick from Stevic.
Wise seems to have got his legs back now.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Stevic lands a huge takedown. Wise is out but the ref is slow to react and Stevic lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Wise lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stevica Stevic!
