Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Calgary Alberta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arto Bryggare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryggare is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Immortal Technique - Goonies Never Die. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Calgary Alberta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arto Bryggare!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alberta connects with a nice looking jab.
Bryggare dodges the punch combination from Alberta.
Bryggare fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bryggare swats away the attempt to clinch by Alberta.
The fighters circling - Bryggare throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bryggare.
Alberta takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.


It looks like Calgary Alberta has been cut.
Bryggare misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alberta.

Alberta has managed to clinch.

Bryggare escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fighters circling - Bryggare throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Alberta is looking to clinch but Bryggare is avoiding it.
Alberta swings widly with a right hand
and Bryggare cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bryggare motions for Alberta to come forward. Bryggare throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Alberta lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Alberta misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bryggare misses with a two punch combination.

Alberta looks to land a combination but Bryggare avoids it well.

Alberta is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Bryggare swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Calgary Alberta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alberta takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bryggare misses with a looping left.
Alberta tries to clinch up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alberta looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bryggare swats away the attempt to clinch by Alberta.

Bryggare looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Alberta fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Alberta throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bryggare cracks Alberta with a right hand to the side of the head.
A jab from Bryggare does it's job there.
Alberta wants to clinch but Bryggare slips to the side
and Bryggare counters with a nice uppercut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bryggare swings for the body but Alberta moves out of range.
Bryggare connects with a right hand. Alberta shakes it off.
Alberta fails in his attempt to clinch.

Bryggare looks to land a combination. Alberta sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Alberta tries to close the distance and clinch but Bryggare swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Alberta walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.


Calgary Alberta's cut is getting worse.
Alberta moves in looking to clinch but Bryggare pushes him off.
Some wild striking there from Alberta.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bryggare. That's going to slow Alberta down.

The fighters circling - Alberta throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Alberta tries to close the distance and clinch but Bryggare swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It seemed like Bryggare was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bryggare scores with a sloppy right hand. Alberta should have avoided that one.
Alberta bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bryggare's head backwards.
Bryggare lands a right hook to the body.
Alberta moves forwards but Bryggare connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Alberta tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Bryggare counter with a right hand.


Calgary Alberta's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Bryggare jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bryggare throws a jab but it's blocked by Alberta.
Alberta was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Alberta takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Alberta takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alberta takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.


Jeez, Calgary Alberta's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Alberta tries to clinch there but Bryggare circles away.
A little jabbing left from Bryggare on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Alberta tries to close the distance and clinch but Bryggare swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bryggare looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Alberta tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bryggare manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It seemed like Bryggare was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A nice combination there by Alberta.
Bryggare throws a quick inside leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bryggare connects with a single shot there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alberta looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bryggare has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Alberta looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Calgary Alberta's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
