Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mustafa Jababeka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodgers Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jababeka comes to the cage accompanied by Goyang Dumang. Mustafa Jababeka has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mustafa Jababeka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Rodgers Owen! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Summer Carpenter and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Owen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jababeka swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Owen is looking to land body kicks. Jababeka blocks a head kick by Owen.
Jababeka throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jababeka. Jababeka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Owen ducks under a wild hook from Jababeka. Owen tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Jababeka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Owen looks to clinch and Owen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jababeka throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Owen on the side of the head. Jababeka looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Owen throws a series of punches but Jababeka moves out of range. Owen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Owen shoots in looking for a takedown but Jababeka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Owen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jababeka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Owen closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Owen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jababeka just stands there and leans against the cage. Jababeka with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Owen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Owen pulls Jababeka into guard.
Jababeka really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jababeka preventing the sweep. Owen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jababeka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Owen on the ground. Jababeka seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jababeka throwing strikes from guard but Owen blocks nicely. Owen keeping moving, preventing Jababeka from controlling successfully. Owen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jababeka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Owen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jababeka has managed to get both his arms back between Owen's legs - danger averted. Owen is trying to control the position but Jababeka postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jababeka postures up in Owen's guard and throws a big left but Owen blocks it. Jababeka trying to control the position from guard on top but Owen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jababeka wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Owen's closed guard. He's half up but Owen has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Owen pivots and extends the arm, Jababeka falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Owen! Well done that man!
