Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dermody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dermody has chosen Apollo 440 - Can't stop the rock as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. John Dermody will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Dermody shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dean manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dermody must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dermody rolls with it to try and escape but Dean cranks on the arm and Dermody is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

A very excited looking Teddy Dean rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
John Dermody was interviewed post fight and said 'Down with that sort of thing.'.
