Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Lewandowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihiro Takeyama! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Takeyama lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lewandowski has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lewandowski and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A little feinted left hand from Lewandowski on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Yoshihiro Takeyama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takeyama throws a low kick, looking for Lewandowski's leg but Lewandowski calmly moves out of range. Lewandowski is looking to counter punch. Lewandowski blocks the body kick.

Lewandowski appears to be looking for a big counter. Sloppy strikes from Takeyama. Those never looked like landing. Takeyama misses with a head kick.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Lewandowski! In his post fight interview, Robert Lewandowski started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
