Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Razval Saraev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Razval Saraev had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, David Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saraev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hernandez moves away.
Hernandez drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Saraev defends it well.
Saraev misses with an uppercut.

Saraev pushes Hernandez up against the cage in a clinch.
Saraev lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hernandez backwards.
Hernandez wants a takedown but no success here.
Hernandez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Saraev gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Saraev gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hernandez.
Razval Saraev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Hernandez.

Saraev is pressed up against the cage. Hernandez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Saraev down to the mat. Saraev avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hernandez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hernandez shoots in but Saraev avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hernandez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Saraev.

Saraev moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Hernandez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Saraev is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Saraev has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As Hernandez tries to get set, Saraev tries to push him back and clinch up but Hernandez manages to avoid the attempt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Nice straight punches there by Saraev. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Saraev.

Hernandez shoots for a takedown but Saraev saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Saraev tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hernandez manages to circle out of the way.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Saraev enables Hernandez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Saraev manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Saraev pulls Hernandez in close to prevent any damage.
Saraev wants to sweep but no luck.

Hernandez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Saraev is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hernandez, into his guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Saraev connects with a nice short shot to Hernandez's temple.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Hernandez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Saraev is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hernandez can't fight it off and eventually Saraev manages to take the fight to the floor. Hernandez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hernandez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Saraev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
