The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toyoto misses with the combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Matielli looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Toyoto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Matielli shoots in for a double leg but Toyoto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Matielli tries to clinch but Toyoto moves out of range.
Matielli shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Toyoto but Toyoto pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Matielli doesn't manage to clinch there - Toyoto circles away.
Matielli shoots for a double leg takedown but Toyoto sprawls well. He's pushed Matielli's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Akimbo Toyoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Matielli.
Toyoto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Toyoto tries to bum rush Matielli with a series of wild strikes but Matielli uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Matielli should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Akimbo Toyoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Matielli lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Toyoto moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Matielli shoots in looking for a takedown. Toyoto tries to sprawl out of it but Matielli keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Toyoto manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Toyoto lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Matielli falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
