Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adlan Amagov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Psycho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amagov comes to the cage accompanied by The Doors - Riders On the Storm. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adlan Amagov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luke Psycho!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Psycho cracks Amagov with a right hand to the side of the head.


It looks like Adlan Amagov has been cut.
Psycho swats away the attempt to clinch by Amagov.
Psycho takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Amagov throws a body shot but no joy.
Psycho dodges the punch combination from Amagov.
Psycho misses with a takedown attempt
and Amagov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Psycho connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Amagov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Amagov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Psycho throws a lazy right hand but Amagov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Amagov is looking to clinch but Psycho is avoiding it.
Psycho catches Amagov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Psycho looks to land a right hand but Amagov moved out of range.
Amagov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Psycho.

Amagov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Psycho.

Psycho is looking to break free of the clinch but Amagov has double underhooks.

Amagov is pressed up against the cage. Psycho has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Amagov down to the mat. Amagov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Adlan Amagov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Psycho.

Amagov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Psycho backwards.
Psycho blocks an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Amagov connects with a nasty looking knee right to Psycho's face.
Amagov tries to land a knee to the head but Psycho blocks with his arms.
Amagov unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Psycho fails to pull guard.
Amagov lands with a short shot to the head.

Psycho has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Amagov uses from the top position.

Our spies down at at Montreal Fighter's Gym (5* Sparring) inform us that Psycho has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Amagov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Psycho on the ground.

Psycho is looking for a triangle here but Amagov uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Psycho is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Psycho manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Psycho is working for a submission of some sort.

Psycho seems to be working for a kimura but Amagov defends the submission attempt.

Psycho looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Amagov is defending against the submission attempts here by Psycho.

Amagov is trying to control but can't.
Psycho throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Psycho seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Psycho is working for a submission of some sort.
Amagov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Amagov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Psycho drops back, looking for a kneebar! Amagov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Amagov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Amagov!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luke Psycho seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Psycho moves into range and connects with a jab.

enabling Amagov to counter with a crisp jab.
Psycho looks for a takedown but Amagov sprawls well.
Psycho takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Amagov drives through and clinches with Psycho against the cage.
Psycho misses with a punch on the inside.
Amagov scores a nice knee to the body.
Psycho is trying to push Amagov away but Amagov has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I was talking to Amagov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

It looks like Luke Psycho has been cut.
Amagov keeps control of Psycho as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Psycho is still on wobbly legs! Can Amagov finish him?

Amagov has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Psycho - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Amagov, and another! Psycho is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Adlan Amagov!
