Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butch Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grizzly Adams Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Grizzly Adams Jr was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Butch Larson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Grizzly Adams Jr! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larson shoots for a double leg takedown but Adams Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Larson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Adams Jr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We've been hearing good reports from Larson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Larson wants to improve his position but Adams Jr is controlling well.
Larson works his way to full guard. Good work. Larson looking for a sweep. Not yet Larson, not yet. Larson seems keen to control Adams Jr's posture. Larson continues to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Larson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Larson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larson is pushing down on Adams Jr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Adams Jr is fighting to maintain full guard but Larson has managed to sneak the leg through. Larson controlling the action here. Adams Jr is looking to escape. Still in half guard, Larson seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Adams Jr is defending against the submission attempts here by Larson.
Still in half guard, Larson seems content to control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adams Jr can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Larson stops Adams Jr from getting back to his feet.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Larson controlling the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Larson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Adams Jr defends it nicely. A little jabbing left from Adams Jr on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Adams Jr lands a left and a right that send Larson crashing to the mat, dazed. Adams Jr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Butch Larson has been cut. Adams Jr ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Larson's jaw. Larson's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Adams Jr does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Grizzly Adams Jr!
