Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raine Lovelair!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lovelair closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Omurzakov stops a takedown attempt from Lovelair.
Omurzakov throws a head punch that misses.
A frustrated look appears on Omurzakov's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Omurzakov wants to break free but Lovelair has control.
Omurzakov wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lovelair's coach down at LOD: Better Alternative ($150 per week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lovelair's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Omurzakov tries to break free but Lovelair pushes him back against the cage.
Omurzakov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Omurzakov tries to break the clinch but Lovelair is controlling the position.
Lovelair prevents Omurzakov from breaking the clinch.
Omurzakov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lovelair has him pressed against the cage.
Omurzakov jumps guard but Lovelair stands there with Omurzakov around his waist. Omurzakov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Omurzakov looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lovelair breaks the clinch.

Lovelair fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Omurzakov to the ground. Lovelair is now in Omurzakov's guard.

Omurzakov pushes Lovelair off and scrambles back to his feet.
Lovelair lands with a right hand.

Omurzakov misses with an uppercut. Lovelair saw that one coming.
Omurzakov looks to score with a jab to the body but Lovelair is just out of range.
Lovelair takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lovelair keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Omurzakov throws a right and a left that both miss.

Lovelair instigates a clinch.
Omurzakov is trying to push Lovelair away but Lovelair has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Lovelair escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Omurzakov with a jab.


It looks like Raine Lovelair has been cut.
Omurzakov throws the left hand but Lovelair avoids the punch easily.
Omurzakov lands with an uppercut that bounces Lovelair off the cage and back into range.
Omurzakov throws an off balance right hand

and Lovelair counters by clinching up.

Lovelair jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Omurzakov throws an elbow that misses. Lovelair uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Omurzakov's guard. Nice move by Lovelair!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lovelair loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lovelair working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Lovelair throwing strikes from guard but Omurzakov blocks nicely.
Lovelair cracks Omurzakov with a solid left hand.
Lovelair trying to control the position from guard on top but Omurzakov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Omurzakov wants to stand but Lovelair is controlling the position.
Lovelair is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Omurzakov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Lovelair passes Omurzakov's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lovelair thows a huge punch but Omurzakov dodges it nicely.

Lovelair not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Omurzakov is trying to stand.
Lovelair working the head and body with strikes.
Omurzakov wants to get back to his feet.
Lovelair is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Omurzakov is looking to escape.
Lovelair lands with a punch from half guard.
Omurzakov pushes Lovelair off looking to stand but Lovelair dives back in and keeps control.
Omurzakov taking some punishment here, with Lovelair in his half guard.
Lovelair working over Omurzakov with some ground and pound. Omurzakov looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Lovelair winds up and cracks Omurzakov with a swinging punch to the side of the head.


Omurzakov is rocked!
Lovelair scores with a big shot! Omurzakov's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Omurzakov! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
