Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Trujillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee Wallace has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Garrett Trujillo's chin.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trujillo gets caught napping as Wallace dives in and scores a takedown. Trujillo manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wallace connects with a couple of short punches.
Wallace trying to control but Trujillo is working from the bottom.
Wallace sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Trujillo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wallace is aware though and is defending well.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Wallace working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Trujillo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wallace is working away from the top position though.

Let's hope that Wallace has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Trujillo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wallace smiles and moves away.

Trujillo takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Wallace's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
