Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jos Beton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mo Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mo Frazier is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jos Beton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mo Frazier! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frazier stuffs the takedown attempt from Beton. Beton gets slowly back to his feet. Beton fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Beton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Frazier postures up and lands a big shot to Beton's brow. Frazier told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Beton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frazier trying to control but Beton is working from the bottom. Frazier got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Beton doesn't succeed with the takedown and Beton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Frazier closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Frazier has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Beton tries to buck Frazier off but Frazier is having none of it. Frazier goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Beton rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Frazier's guard! Nice work there by Beton! Frazier escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Frazier is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Beton trying to move into half guard but instead Frazier has managed to sweep! Frazier working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Beton looking to control.

Beton shoots in for a takedown but Frazier shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Beton fails with the takedown and Frazier counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Frazier escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Frazier has a takedown stuffed. Beton fails with the takedown letting Frazier counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frazier pushes Beton away with a front kick. Frazier keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Beton pushes Frazier against the cage but Frazier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jos Beton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Frazier counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Frazier scores with the left hand. Beton knows he should have avoided that one. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Frazier.
Frazier leaves Beton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Frazier lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Beton gets the takedown into side control. Beton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frazier keeps working. Frazier is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Frazier is looking to escape. Frazier has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Frazier is not content to let Beton control the position.

Beton drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Frazier dives on top into guard. Frazier slips nicely into half guard. Frazier decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Frazier lands with a cross.

Frazier thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Beton if he has to take too many more of those.

Beton takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
And that's the end of the fight! Mo Frazier comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Frazier has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
