Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abe Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Abe Lincoln! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Bear! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Lincoln is looking for a sweep. Bear is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bear is trying to work for a kimura but Lincoln is defending well.
Lincoln regains full guard. Nicely done. Bear throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lincoln works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lincoln looking for a guillotine here but Bear defends easily.
Bear stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lincoln swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bear is in close to Lincoln's body, working some short punches and elbows. Lincoln keeping moving, preventing Bear from controlling successfully. Bear throwing strikes from guard but Lincoln blocks nicely. Bear avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lincoln might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lincoln tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bear thows a big elbow that misses. Bear wants to control from the top but Lincoln keeps moving. Bear postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lincoln is on top in guard.
Lincoln is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lincoln postures up in Bear's guard and throws a big left but Bear blocks it. Lincoln trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bear is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lincoln throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bear works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lincoln tries to free his leg and advance position but Bear is retaining full guard. Lincoln slips nicely into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bear can do anything to dispel that myth. Lincoln is looking to advance position but Bear won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bear decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Lincoln actively working from the bottom here. Lincoln looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Lincoln is breathing heavily. Ground and pound from Bear. Lincoln tries to get to full guard but Bear has control of the leg. Lincoln looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bear slips a nice elbow through Lincoln's hands, connecting with Lincoln's forehead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lincoln keeps working. Bear thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lincoln tries to roll over but Bear keeps him under control. Bear passes to full mount! Lincoln working to try and regain half guard.
Bear is landing with some decent strikes but Lincoln is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bear cracks Lincoln with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear landing strikes, looking to finish! Lincoln sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Lincoln is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bear looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lincoln with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Lincoln manages to get to full guard.
Lincoln looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bear is defending well. Lincoln quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bear has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lincoln celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Abe Lincoln!
