Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Silva Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva Jr is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2pac- Another Motherfucker Drops. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva Jr lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Silva throws a jab when Silva Jr was well out of range.
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva Jr tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva jabs Silva Jr to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Silva moves into the clinch.
Silva Jr tries to circle away but Silva has him pinned against the cage.

Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva Jr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Silva explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Silva - that will leave a mark!
Silva misses with a body shot.

Silva lands a nice looking kick to the body. Silva Jr takes a step back to recover.

Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Silva Jr tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Silva scores with a knee to the head.
Silva landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Silva tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Silva Jr avoids it.
Silva misses with a knee strike.
Silva makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Silva lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Silva lands with a left to the head.
Silva unloads a knee to the mid-section. Silva Jr lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Silva connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Silva lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Silva scores with a head kick. Silva Jr tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Silva Jr stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Silva.
Silva Jr takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A looping hook to the body misses from Silva. Silva Jr does a little dance to reset his feet.
Silva Jr takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Silva Jr is rocked!
Silva looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Silva Jr tries to score with a low kick but Silva moves his leg out of the way.
Silva lands a head kick!
Silva Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
Silva walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Silva Jr drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Silva swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Silva Jr's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
