Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dustin Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, AIDEN TAYLOR!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

TAYLOR scores with a takedown into Jackson's guard.
TAYLOR trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
TAYLOR pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jackson is keeping the position for now.
TAYLOR postures up in Jackson's guard and throws a big left but Jackson blocks it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

TAYLOR drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick TAYLOR off! TAYLOR jumps back into Jackson's guard.
Jackson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
TAYLOR tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard.

Jackson has his foot on TAYLOR's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. TAYLOR works his way back into a safe position though.
TAYLOR stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. TAYLOR gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jackson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jackson is breathing heavily.

TAYLOR looking to pass the guard.
TAYLOR passes into half guard.

TAYLOR is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jackson is looking to control TAYLOR's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jackson avoid being mounted?

Jackson looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jackson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Jackson is in trouble now - TAYLOR has advanced to mount!

Jackson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
TAYLOR trying to control but Jackson is having none of it.
Jackson regains half guard.
TAYLOR works his way into full mount!

Jackson tries to reverse the position but TAYLOR maintains control.

TAYLOR working for a guillotine from mount but Jackson is in no mood to give up.
Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jackson is working hard here to advance position.
TAYLOR fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

TAYLOR gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

TAYLOR scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Jackson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jackson.
Jackson looking for a sweep. Not yet Jackson, not yet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
TAYLOR is working Jackson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Jackson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

TAYLOR drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and TAYLOR jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jackson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but TAYLOR sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but TAYLOR shows good takedown defense.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

AIDEN TAYLOR dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Jackson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
TAYLOR trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jackson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

TAYLOR gets to his feet - Jackson follows without any prompting.
TAYLOR misses with a two punch combination.

Jackson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and TAYLOR moves into the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
TAYLOR tries to work over Jackson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Jackson tries for a takedown but TAYLOR manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dustin Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

TAYLOR is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jackson can't fight it off and eventually TAYLOR manages to take the fight to the floor. Jackson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Jackson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! TAYLOR has his hands clasped together but Jackson extends an breaks TAYLOR's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jackson.
