1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihiro Petrosyan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kinjo Yoshi! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Petrosyan.
Petrosyan avoids the body shot from Yoshi.
Petrosyan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A head kick misses from Petrosyan. Yoshi takes a swing at Petrosyan's ribcage but misses. Petrosyan pushes Yoshi up against the ropes in a clinch. Petrosyan managing to block the knees to the body from Yoshi.

Yoshi looks for the body kick but Petrosyan saw that one coming. Petrosyan fires out a quick counter leg kick but Yoshi just manages to avoid it. Petrosyan on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Yoshi throws a half hearted mid kick. Yoshi throws an overhand right that lands on Petrosyan's shoulder, as Petrosyan tries to avoid the shot. Yoshi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Petrosyan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Yoshi misses with a few strikes there.
Petrosyan appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Petrosyan lands a head kick!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Petrosyan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Yoshi tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Petrosyan avoids it. Petrosyan gets through Yoshi's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Yoshi with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Yoshi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Petrosyan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yoshi. Yoshi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Petrosyan circles away quickly and effectively. A telegraphed right hand from Yoshi misses the target. Nice shot lands for Yoshi. Petrosyan slips a jab from Yoshi. Yoshi gets tackled into the ropes by Petrosyan. Petrosyan maintains the clinch. That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrosyan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Yoshi sprawls well. Yoshi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Petrosyan gets slowly back to his feet. An inside leg kick from Yoshi misses. Petrosyan wants to slow Yoshi down by chopping away at his legs. Yoshi throws a right hand that Petrosyan ducks under and follows up with a left that Petrosyan also avoids with ease. Petrosyan rushes Yoshi and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
