The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markovic shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Markovic seems content to control.
Green really is a fat lump.
Markovic seems to be looking for submissions.

Green wants to improve his position but Markovic is controlling well.

Markovic throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Green because Markovic loaded up on that one.
Markovic is landing with some decent strikes but Green is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Markovic jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Green manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Markovic fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Green is not content to let Markovic control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Markovic throws a head kick that misses.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Green enables Markovic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Green manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Green has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Markovic is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Markovic has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Markovic wants to sweep but no luck.
Markovic looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Green is defending well. Markovic quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Green has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Markovic celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
