Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Uppertaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Uppertaker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Uppertaker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryo Rossi! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rossi darts in and clinches Uppertaker up against the cage. Rossi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Uppertaker gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Uppertaker tries to break the clinch but Rossi is controlling the position. Uppertaker is looking to break free of the clinch but Rossi has double underhooks. Rossi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Uppertaker fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rossi has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rossi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Uppertaker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. The Uppertaker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryo Rossi. Rossi wants the takedown. Uppertaker is fighting it off but Rossi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Uppertaker's guard against the cage. Uppertaker pushes Rossi off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Sloppy strikes from Uppertaker. Those never looked like landing. Uppertaker throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rossi goes for a takedown attempt but Uppertaker pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We've been told by Uppertaker's head coaches at Midnight MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rossi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Ryo Rossi has been cut. A cross from Uppertaker lands. Uppertaker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Rossi moves into the clinch. Rossi gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rossi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rossi blocks the strikes from Uppertaker.

Rossi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Uppertaker sees it coming and defends easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Uppertaker tries to roll over but Rossi keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rossi is looking to take a break and control but Uppertaker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Uppertaker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Uppertaker tries to get out of the position. Uppertaker is looking to control Rossi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Uppertaker avoid being mounted? Uppertaker is trying to stand back up but Rossi is controlling him
Uppertaker trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Rossi wants to control but Uppertaker is keeping him busy. Uppertaker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rossi controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uppertaker is trying to maintain the position but Rossi is very close to passing his half guard. Rossi is trying to control the action in half guard but Uppertaker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rossi moves into the clinch. Uppertaker has Rossi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rossi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Uppertaker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rossi wants to clinch up but Uppertaker keeps it at a distance. Rossi clinches up with Uppertaker and pushes him back against the cage. Rossi blocking some punches.

Uppertaker is looking to take this one to the mat. Uppertaker stops a takedown attempt from Rossi.
Rossi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Uppertaker fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uppertaker uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Uppertaker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Uppertaker tries to keep at a distance but Rossi has taken the fight into the clinch. Uppertaker is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rossi is keeping busy. Uppertaker tries to circle away but Rossi has him pinned against the cage. Rossi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Uppertaker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. A frustrated look appears on Uppertaker's face as he tries to break the clinch. Uppertaker looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Uppertaker wants to take the fight to the mat but Rossi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Uppertaker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rossi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Uppertaker tries to break the clinch but Rossi is controlling the position. Uppertaker is trying to break the clinch but Rossi is controlling him. A frustrated look appears on Uppertaker's face as he tries to break the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that The Uppertaker will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ryo Rossi's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

Rossi gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Uppertaker regains guard.
Rossi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Uppertaker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rossi controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ryo Rossi has got the better of the ground game so far. Rossi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rossi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rossi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Rossi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Uppertaker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rossi has Uppertaker in his guard. Uppertaker throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rossi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Uppertaker content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rossi is trying to control the position but Uppertaker postures up. Uppertaker wants to control from the top but Rossi keeps moving. Uppertaker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rossi pushes a forearm under Uppertaker's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Uppertaker is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ryo Rossi! After the fight, Ryo Rossi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
