Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steven Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafal Zamana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baker comes to the cage accompanied by Death Grips - The Fever (Instrumental). The crowd seem to be enjoying Zamana's choice of entrance music: Modestep - Show Me A Sign. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Steven Baker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rafal Zamana! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Zamana not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Baker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Baker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Baker stands up out of Zamana's guard for a moment - Zamana manages to land a nice upkick. Zamana keeping full guard, as Baker tries to pass. Baker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Baker wants to pass the guard but Zamana is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Zamana controls Baker momentarily but Baker frees himself. Zamana told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zamana isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Baker stacks Zamana on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Baker! Baker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Baker is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Zamana has escaped the position, nice work there. Baker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Baker working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zamana is looking to reverse the position. Baker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Zamana is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Baker swings around for an armbar but Zamana sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Baker's guard. Zamana stands up from guard. Let's bang! Baker tries to clinch and Zamana counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zamana got a little sloppy there for a moment and Baker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zamana has managed to get both his arms back between Baker's legs - danger averted. Zamana gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baker is breathing heavily. Zamana gets to his feet. Baker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Zamana gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Baker to score an easy takedown into full guard. Zamana keeping full guard, as Baker tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baker lying in Zamana's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Zamana decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Baker taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Rafal Zamana very nearly forgot to thank Max Octane Fight Wear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. The defeated Steven Baker had this to say: 'I underperformed.
