The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chupalov gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Edmondson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chupalov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

We've been hearing reports that Edmondson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Chupalov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chupalov closes the distance and clinches.

Edmondson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Chupalov uses from the top position.
Chupalov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Edmondson, up you get!

Chupalov is pressed up against the cage. Edmondson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chupalov down to the mat. Chupalov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Chupalov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Edmondson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Chupalov moves into range and clinches up with Edmondson.
Chupalov jumps guard.
Chupalov pushes Edmondson off and scrambles back to his feet.
Chupalov moves into the clinch.

Chupalov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Edmondson tries a head kick but it misses.
Chupalov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Edmondson as he avoids it easily.
Chupalov lands a left and a right that send Edmondson crashing to the mat, dazed. Chupalov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Edmondson is rocked!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oh Edmondson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A short right hand to the side of the head by Chupalov.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Edmondson takes a knee right on the jaw!

Chupalov stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Chupalov.
A right hook to the body lands for Chupalov.
Chupalov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chupalov tries to close the distance and clinch but Edmondson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chupalov cracks Edmondson's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Edmondson slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Chupalov can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yuriy Chupalov!
