Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clyde Lambert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose El Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Angel is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Descending Angel. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambert throws a combination but it was largely blocked by El Angel.
El Angel is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Lambert could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
El Angel misses with a head kick.
El Angel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lambert keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
El Angel throws a right and a left that both miss.
As El Angel tries to get set, Lambert tries to push him back and clinch up but El Angel manages to avoid the attempt.
Jose El Angel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from El Angel misses.
El Angel misses with a head kick.
Lambert clinches up with El Angel and pushes him back against the cage.
El Angel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lambert wants to clinch up but El Angel keeps it at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
El Angel tries to clinch but Lambert is having none of it.
El Angel shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
El Angel decides to stand and escape the position.

El Angel tries to keep at a distance but Lambert has taken the fight into the clinch.
El Angel is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Lambert tries to pull guard but El Angel forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Lambert drops to a knee looking for a takedown but El Angel gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lambert tries to pull guard but El Angel holds him up against the cage and eventually Lambert drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clyde Lambert. That's going to take a lot out of him.
El Angel has clasped his hands together around Lambert's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Lambert is trying to control El Angel's posture but El Angel avoids it.
Lambert tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lambert sneaks back into half guard.

Lambert wants to improve his position but El Angel is controlling well.
Lambert regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lambert wants to stand but El Angel is controlling the position.
Lambert has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think El Angel should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lambert has tightened it up now! El Angel should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
