Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Sykes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Aaron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bill Sykes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hank Aaron! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sykes misses with a hook. Aaron ducked under it nicely. Sykes throws a lazy right hand but Aaron sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Aaron has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sykes is landing a low percentage of strikes. Sykes throws the left hand but Aaron avoids the punch easily. Sykes looks to land a combination. Aaron sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Aaron fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sykes. Sykes connects with a right hand. Aaron shakes it off. Sykes throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Aaron counters with an outside leg kick.
Sykes misses with a hook. A nice side step and Aaron releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Sykes throws a hook but Aaron blocks it. Sykes scores with a jab to the body. Aaron takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Aaron gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Aaron thows a leg kick but Sykes checks it and Aaron takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sykes moves away from the strike by Aaron. Sykes throws a lazy right hand but Aaron sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Aaron doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sykes goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Sykes missing with a left hand there. Aaron was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Aaron thinks about the counter body kick. Aaron slips a jab from Sykes. Sykes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Sykes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sykes steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Aaron. That one must have hurt. Sykes scores with a body shot.
Aaron misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Aaron takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sykes misses with a straight right. Aaron ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sykes throws a hook but Aaron blocks it. Aaron appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Aaron lands a nice shot that snaps Sykes's head back.
It looks like Bill Sykes has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sykes moves out of range of the body kick. Nice defenses there by Aaron. Aaron slips under a jab from Sykes. Aaron moves out of range as Sykes strikes. Aaron throws a sloppy head kick and Sykes moves out of range easily. Sykes misses with a hook. Sykes misses with a double jab.
Sykes clinches. Sykes scores with a shot to the side of Aaron's head. Sykes lands with a light punch inside. Aaron is trying to break free. A nice left hand lands by Sykes.
Sykes prevents Aaron from breaking the clinch. A right handed body shot lands from Sykes.
I was talking to Sykes's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Aaron looks winded! Sykes lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Aaron is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aaron struggles to land a body shot inside as Sykes controls his hands.
Aaron is trying to break the clinch but Sykes is controlling him. Aaron wants to break free but Sykes has control.
Sykes lands on the inside with an uppercut. Sykes pushes Aaron back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Sykes blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A short left from Sykes. Aaron misses with a punch on the inside.
A short uppercut from Sykes. Aaron is trying to push Sykes away but Sykes has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Aaron can't break the clinch.
Aaron has had enough of the clinch but Sykes keeps him there for the moment. Aaron breaks the clinch.
Aaron is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Sykes fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Aaron takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Aaron is rocked! Sykes lands with a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sykes drops Aaron with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Aaron looks back up at him and smiles so Sykes waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Aaron is still on wobbly legs! Can Sykes finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sykes connects with a right hand. Aaron shakes it off. Sykes cracks Aaron on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Aaron falls backwards against the cage. Sykes follows up with more strikes that drop Aaron to his knees. Sykes keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Aaron! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bill Sykes! In his post fight interview, Bill Sykes started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
