Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Bezerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Sturm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Felix Sturm told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bezerra tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sturm swivels and escapes.
Sturm leaves Bezerra with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sturm takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bezerra throws a shot from downtown. Sturm moves away and avoids it.
Bruno Bezerra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sturm checks a low kick from Bezerra.
Sturm takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bezerra uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sturm misses the shot to the body.
Bezerra misses with a hook. Sturm ducked under it nicely.
Donk. Sturm catches Bezerra right on the button with a cross.
Bezerra throws a left and a right that both miss

and Sturm counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bezerra! Sturm lets Bezerra back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Bezerra is rocked!

Bezerra takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Oh Bezerra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sturm circles away from the clinch attempt
and Sturm rattles Bezerra with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Bezerra tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Sturm dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Bezerra stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Felix Sturm!
A very excited looking Felix Sturm made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
