Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jokubas Nu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roddy Duff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jokubas Nu is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jokubas Nu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roddy Duff! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duff drives through and clinches with Nu against the cage.
Nu pushes off an throws an elbow but Duff leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Nu tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Duff's elbow. Duff is working for takedown but Nu is calmly controlling the position for now. Duff jumps guard but Nu turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Duff putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Nu in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Duff tries to pull guard but Nu forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Jokubas Nu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roddy Duff. Duff gets control of Nu's arms and successfully pulls guard. Duff will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Duff is adopting a defensive guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duff tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nu is looking to work some ground and pound but Duff has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nu wants to control from the top but Duff keeps moving. Nu being controlled here momentarily. Duff is looking for a triangle but Nu pushes his legs off easily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nu forces Duff back against the cage and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nu is looking to break free of the clinch but Duff has double underhooks. Nu stops a takedown attempt from Duff.
Nu tries to pull guard but Duff forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Duff has hold of one of Nu's legs. Nu is fighting the takedown attempt but Duff gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Duff controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Nu working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Duff. Duff with a flurry of punches that miss. Duff wants to control from the top but Nu keeps moving. Nu preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nu is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Duff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nu swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Duff is one step ahead there. Duff slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Nu looking for a sweep. Not yet Nu, not yet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Duff drives through and clinches with Nu against the cage.
Nu goes for a takedown in the clinch but Duff prevents it.
Duff has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nu uses from the top position. Duff is controlling Nu's posture. Duff is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Duff is adopting a defensive guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duff swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roddy Duff dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Duff throws a head kick but Nu moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nu is defended easily by Duff. Duff has Nu up against the cage in a clinch.
Nu fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duff has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nu avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Duff pulls guard. Duff pulls Nu in close to prevent any damage. Nu wants to pass the guard but Duff is keeping the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duff can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nu trying to control but Duff is working from the bottom. Duff wants to get back to his feet but Nu is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Duff is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nu defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Duff is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nu is trying to maintain the position but Duff is very close to passing his half guard. Nu is trying to stand up here but Duff is controlling him well. Duff throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Nu is trying to stand up here but Duff is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duff moves nicely into side control. Duff is looking to take a break and control but Nu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nu sneaks back into half guard. Nu tries to get to full guard but Duff has control of the leg. Duff wants to free his trapped foot but Nu is holding on for dear life with his legs. Roddy Duff has got the better of the ground game so far. Duff keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nu gets back to full guard.
Duff is stalling in the full guard. Duff stopping the sweep attempt from Nu.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nu takes a shot right to the bread basket. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duff will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nu moves in looking to clinch but Duff pushes him off. Duff closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roddy Duff showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Nu fails in his attempt to clinch. Nu misses with a takedown attempt - Duff sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Duff shoots in but no luck this time. Nu wants to clinch and Duff counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nu doesn't manage to clinch there - Duff circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duff looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Duff has his foot on Nu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nu works his way back into a safe position though.

Duff is controlling Nu's posture. Nu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Duff is keeping the position for now. Duff wants to stand up but Nu is controlling him. Nu trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Duff manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Duff slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Duff throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nu works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Duff is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Let's hope that Duff has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Duff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nu checks a leg kick nicely. Duff on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Duff fails with the takedown. Nu slaps away a takedown attempt from Duff, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jokubas Nu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roddy Duff. Duff fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duff stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Duff wants it to stay on the feet. Nu shoots in and drives through. Duff sprawls well. Duff swats away the attempt to clinch by Nu. Duff moves into the clinch. Nu is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Duff jumps guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duff has his hands on Nu's head, controlling the position. Duff has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Duff looking for a sweep. Not yet Duff, not yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Roddy Duff comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Duff has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
