Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Mathis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maro Dinyarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jesse Mathis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maro Dinyarov!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinyarov cracks Mathis with a good jab.

Dinyarov drives through and clinches with Mathis against the cage.
Dinyarov lands a shot to the body.
Mathis can't get the takedown.
Good body shot from Dinyarov.
Mathis displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dinyarov up against the cage.
Mathis can't break the clinch.

Dinyarov gets control of Mathis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dinyarov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mathis won't allow Dinyarov to sweep him here.

Mathis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dinyarov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mathis has Dinyarov in his guard.

Dinyarov controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dinyarov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Dinyarov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Dinyarov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dinyarov happy to just control the position for now.
Mathis is trying to control Dinyarov's posture but Dinyarov avoids it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mathis takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Dinyarov creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Dinyarov tries to stand but Mathis is controlling his head.

Dinyarov swings around for an armbar but Mathis sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dinyarov's guard.
Dinyarov is pulling down on Mathis's head to control his posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dinyarov is on top in guard.

Mathis looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Mathis is looking for a triangle but Dinyarov pushes his legs off easily.
Dinyarov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Mathis really is a fat lump.
It looks like Dinyarov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Mathis is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dinyarov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maro Dinyarov dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Mathis tries to sprawl but Dinyarov drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Dinyarov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Dinyarov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Dinyarov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mathis tries to lock up and control but Dinyarov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dinyarov connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mathis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mathis is looking to get to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dinyarov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Mathis is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Dinyarov! Mathis is hurt baaadly! Dinyarov is firing away with more strikes - Mathis is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maro Dinyarov!
