PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sylvester Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mystic Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quinn rushes Mac and presses him up against the cage.

Mac escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mac throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mac lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mac.

enabling Quinn to counter with a crisp jab.

Quinn tries to close the distance and clinch but Mac swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looked like Quinn was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Mac scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Quinn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mac's half guard.
Quinn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mac with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sylvester Quinn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Quinn thows a huge punch but Mac dodges it nicely.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Quinn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mac manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Mac throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Mac is breathing heavily.
Mac lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Mystic Mac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Quinn is trying to trip Mac. He has hold of a leg but Mac is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Quinn persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Quinn is pushing down on Mac's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mac is fighting to maintain full guard but Quinn has managed to sneak the leg through.

Mac feints a jab promting Quinn to slip. Mac then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Quinn slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Mac tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Quinn shoots in but Mac avoids the takedown attempt easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Mystic Mac.
I've got Mac winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
