Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raylan Crowder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rich Junior!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rich Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Junior scores with a takedown into Crowder's guard.
Crowder wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Junior manages to pass to side control.

Junior looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Junior is looking for a kimura here.
Junior is stalling here. Crowder is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Junior seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Crowder has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Crowder wants to stand but Junior has his arm trapped.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Junior shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crowder but Crowder pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Junior shoots in looking for a takedown but Crowder manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Junior's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Junior is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Crowder defends it well.

Crowder got a little sloppy there for a moment and Junior has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crowder has managed to get both his arms back between Junior's legs - danger averted.

Rich Junior showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Crowder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Junior fails to land the takedown.
Crowder tries to clinch there but Junior circles away.
Junior closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crowder circles away.
Crowder was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Junior shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crowder but Crowder pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Junior takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Junior will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Crowder throws a right and a left that Junior avoids nicely.
Junior gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Crowder counters with a straight right hand.

Crowder cracks Junior with an uppercut from hell and Junior crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Crowder's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!


Junior is rocked!
Crowder slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Junior is still in real trouble! Can Crowder finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Crowder has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Crowder lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Raylan Crowder!
Raylan Crowder decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
