Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Barron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mister Armbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mister Armbar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barron misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Armbar swats away the attempt to clinch by Barron.
Armbar gets a takedown into half guard.
Barron wants to get back to full guard.
Armbar wants to stand up but Barron is controlling the position.
Barron strikes from the bottom but Armbar uses the opportunity to move to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Armbar in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Armbar tries to advance to mount but Barron denies him.
Armbar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Armbar blocks the strikes from Barron.
Barron knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Armbar on the ground.

Barron sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Armbar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Barron is staying active underneath Armbar, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Barron is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Armbar has latched onto it... Big trouble! Armbar pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Barron is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Armbar!
