Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Huey Roth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oskar Fillin!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Roth drives through and clinches with Fillin against the cage.

Roth breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Fillin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Huey Roth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roth with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Roth finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Roth gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fillin jumps guard and drags Roth to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Fillin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fillin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roth defends it easily.
Roth content to stall in guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Fillin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Roth wants to stand but Fillin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Fillin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fillin is tightening it up a little... Roth has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Roth reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Roth taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fillin!
