Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Louis Puckett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Kaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Louis Puckett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hans Kaa! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Puckett moves out of range of the body kick from Kaa.
Kaa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Puckett is fending him off so far but Kaa persists. Nope, Puckett circles away and we're back to standing. It looked like Puckett was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Kaa blocks the body kick.
Puckett throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Puckett moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromKaa. Kaa dives in for a single leg takedown but Puckett sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Puckett wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Kaa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Puckett. Kaa scores with a nice body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaa clinches up with Puckett and pushes him back against the cage. Good body shot from Kaa.
Kaa goes for a takedown in the clinch but Puckett prevents it.
Louis Puckett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hans Kaa. Come on Puckett - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaa drops down looking for an ankle pick but Puckett pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kaa clinches up with Puckett and pushes him back against the cage. Kaa stalling in the clinch.
Puckett gets a trip takedown into half guard. Puckett is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kaa is just riding it out for now. Puckett eventually gives up the hold. Puckett is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kaa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Puckett.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Puckett lands strikes from half guard. Puckett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Puckett is working for a kimura but Kaa is defending it quite comfortably.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Puckett not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kaa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Puckett is working away from the top position though. Puckett lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Kaa wants to control but Puckett is keeping busy.
Kaa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Puckett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kaa is trying to maintain the position but Puckett is very close to passing his half guard. Puckett lands with a punch from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kaa avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Puckett. Puckett is working for an americana but Kaa has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Puckett was thinking about the submission. Kaa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Puckett throws a big right hand that misses. Puckett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kaa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Puckett lands a couple of decent looking shots. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Puckett drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kaa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Puckett has Kaa in his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Louis Puckett will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Puckett takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kaa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Puckett sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kaa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaa tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Kaa is trying to break free. Kaa tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Puckett smiles and moves away.

Kaa closes the distance and clinches. Kaa is looking for a takedown. Puckett is looking for a takedown. Puckett gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kaa.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kaa trying to stall but Puckett improves his position.

Kaa wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Puckett has him pressed against the cage. Kaa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kaa rushes Puckett and presses him up against the cage. Puckett pulls guard effortlessly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Puckett has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kaa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kaa preventing the sweep. Puckett not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kaa trying to control the position from guard on top but Puckett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Puckett stuffs the takedown. Kaa throws the kick towards the body but Puckett avoids it. Puckett throws a big counter combination but Kaa scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Puckett looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Kaa is breathing heavily. Puckett looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Puckett is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kaa is trying to stand back up but Puckett is controlling him

That was a close second round but I would say that Louis Puckett will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kaa goes for a takedown attempt but Puckett pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Puckett keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Louis Puckett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hans Kaa. Kaa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kaa gets in close and instigates a clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Kaa.

Puckett has Kaa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kaa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Puckett is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kaa gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kaa breaks the clinch.
Kaa dives in and grabs Puckett's left leg, looking for a takedown. Puckett pushes down on Kaa's head and hops out. Puckett misses with a kick to the body.
Kaa shoots in looking for a takedown but Puckett manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kaa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. As Kaa tries to get set, Puckett tries to push him back and clinch up but Kaa manages to avoid the attempt. Kaa shoots for a takedown but Puckett saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Puckett is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kaa. Kaa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Puckett looks to score with a jab to the body but Kaa is just out of range.

Puckett looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Puckett postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Puckett works over Kaa with some ground and pound from guard. Puckett thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Puckett's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Puckett distracts Kaa with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kaa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Puckett working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kaa's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Puckett stands up over Kaa, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Puckett lands a couple of digs. Puckett lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hans Kaa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Louis Puckett is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Puckett with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Louis Puckett. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Puckett, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
