Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Joe River (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kordell Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bailey has chosen Damian Marley - Road To Zion (Feat. Nas) as his entrance music. Joe River has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe River! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kordell Bailey! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Bailey misses and River counters with a body kick. River does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. River checks the leg kick nicely there.
Some bone on bone action there as River checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Bailey looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. River lands with a kick to the ribs.
Bailey goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. River is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Bailey. Bailey checks the leg kick nicely there.
River is looking to chop away at Bailey's legs. River throws a right and a left that both miss. Bailey was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Bailey misses with the body kick and River counters with a stiff right hand. River tests Bailey's chin there with a solid looking shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bailey looks to land a body kick but River moved away. Joe River seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bailey connects with a leg kick. River looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. River throws a big shot that misses. River connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bailey's hands.
It looks like Kordell Bailey has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! River throws a low kick but Bailey moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice defenses there by River. Bailey throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Bailey keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from River. River throws a jab when Bailey was well out of range. Bailey raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Bailey fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but River is out of range. A slapping leg kick lands for Bailey.
River looks to land a body kick but Bailey moved away. Bailey pushes River away with a front kick. Bailey wants to clinch. River misses the jab. River looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. River scores with a nice head shot. Bailey pivots, looking for a leg kick but River is out of range and Bailey settles back down. Bailey pushes River up against the ropes in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A short uppercut from River. Bailey just leaning against River, taking a breather. Nice elbow from Bailey. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bailey taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. River looks to throw a body kick and Bailey counters with a low kick, right behind River 's knee. Bailey gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bailey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. River scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Bailey scores with a slapping inside leg kick. River gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bailey slowing the pace effectively. Bailey throws an elbow but it misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! River turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Bailey tries to close the distance and clinch but River swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. River on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. River moves out of range of the leg kick from Bailey. River tries to keep at a distance but Bailey has taken the fight into the clinch. Bailey blocks an uppercut.

Joe River dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kordell Bailey's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

That's one minute gone in the round. Bailey's hands are dropping dangerously low here and River connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bailey scrambles back to his feet. Bailey pushes River away with a front kick. River tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bailey only half commits to the counter leg kick. Bailey throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. River is looking for a counter combo. River is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bailey can do to turn this around? A swing and a miss from River. Bailey fakes a jab and throws a low kick but River checks it well. Bailey throws a leg kick which misses River's front leg but catches the back leg as River tries to avoid it. Bailey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt River. Sloppy strikes from River. Those never looked like landing. Bailey only half commits to the counter leg kick. River chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bailey can pounce on him.
River is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Bailey closes the distance looking to clinch and River counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bailey is rocked! Bailey throws a solid leg kick but River takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bailey.
That's two minutes gone in the round. River blocks a low kick nicely. River steps in and throws a big head kick that drops Bailey to the mat! Bailey looks in trouble, can he beat the count? River is bouncing in a neutral corner joining in with the referee '4,5,6' they both chant. 7,8,9... he's not going to make it! 10! He's out! River jumps onto the ropes and takes in the acclaim from the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Joe River! After the fight, Joe River was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
