Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Rodney Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cordell Walker!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Walker counters with a good low kick that Jackson was not able to check.
Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Walker.
Walker throws a big counter head kick but Jackson avoids it with no problem.
Walker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Walker has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Walker throws a hook but Jackson avoids it easily.
Nice jab there from Jackson.
Walker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Walker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.
Rodney Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson misses with a hook.
Jackson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jackson misses with a straight left.
Walker throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily.
Jackson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Walker throws a head kick that misses.
Jackson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jackson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Donk. Walker catches Jackson right on the button with a cross.
Jackson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jackson.
Jackson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Walker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice uppercut there from Jackson.
Jackson lands a nice shot to the body.
Walker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jackson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Walker looks winded!
Jackson getting the better of the striking in that exchange.


Walker is rocked!
Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Walker smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson throws the kick towards the body but Walker avoids it.
Rodney Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jackson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Walker at a distance.
Jackson looks to land a body kick but Walker moved away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Jackson drops Walker with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Walker looks back up at him and smiles so Jackson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Walker is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?


It looks like Cordell Walker has been cut.
Walker takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Walker on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jackson fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Walker out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Rodney Jackson!
Rodney Jackson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
