Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edgar Cano!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cano dives in and grabs Wills's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wills pushes down on Cano's head and hops out.
Cano has his takedown stuffed
and Wills counters with a good low kick that Cano was not able to check.
Wills scores with a jab to the jaw.
Cano shoots and misses
enabling Wills to counter with a crisp jab.
We've been told by Wills's head coaches at The Butcher's Block that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wilson Wills has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edgar Cano.
Cano gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Cano tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Wills is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Cano buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Cano!! Cano is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Wills throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wilson Wills!
