Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gendo Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rage looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range. Rage misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming. Rage doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
A big right from Rage misses. Rage comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Nice jab there from Rage.
It looks like Frank Jones has been cut. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jab by Rage. This has been an exciting period of action! Rage tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.

Rage throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rage misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones gets caught flat footed, as Rage shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rage wanted to stand there but Jones had control of the position. Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gendo Rage dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frank Jones's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones. Rage lands the left hand. Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rage but Rage pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rage throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jones takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Jones doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rage tries to clinch up. Rage works Jones's body with a nice hook. Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Rage listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Rage lands a slapping body shot.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rage scores a takedown into full mount! Jones tries to hold on but Rage pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rage tries to clinch up and Jones counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rage's guard now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rage has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle.
