Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norman Davenport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PO Statsny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Statsny has chosen BIgger Than Me - Game as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Statsny moves into the clinch.
Davenport jumps guard but Statsny stands there with Davenport around his waist. Davenport gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Statsny trying to stand up but can't free himself from Davenport's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Davenport gets tackled into the cage by Statsny. Statsny maintains the clinch.

Statsny's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Davenport.

Statsny changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Davenport looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Davenport manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Statsny is trying to maintain the position but Davenport is very close to passing his half guard.

Statsny holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Statsny is pressing down on Davenport's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Statsny looking for a guillotine here but Davenport defends easily.
Statsny bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davenport's guard.

Davenport has Statsny pulled in close to control his posture.

Davenport utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Davenport keeping full guard, as Statsny tries to pass.
Statsny is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Statsny slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Davenport might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Statsny is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Davenport has escaped the position, nice work there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Statsny cracks Davenport with an elbow. That is naaassty.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Davenport gets caught napping as Statsny dives in and scores a takedown. Davenport manages to retain guard.

Davenport manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Davenport throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Norman Davenport is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Davenport shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Statsny pinned against the cage. Statsny gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Davenport tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Statsny counters with a crisp right hand that drops Davenport! Statsny lets Davenport back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Davenport is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Statsny throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Davenport is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
