Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Olliver Gullion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alastair Stirling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stirling is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Endgestalt - Sturmkrieger. Olliver Gullion has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Olliver Gullion! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alastair Stirling! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gullion slips under a jab. Stirling connects with a right hand. Gullion shakes it off. Stirling shoots in and drives through. Gullion sprawls well. Gullion connects with a high kick.
It looks like Alastair Stirling has been cut. Gullion staying out of range there. Stirling drives through with a takedown into guard. Stirling won't allow Gullion to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stirling throws a big right hand that misses. Stirling is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Stirling looking to pass the guard. Stirling won't allow Gullion to get back to his feet. Stirling throws a strike but Gullion rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Stirling wants to sweep here but Gullion controlling him for the moment. Stirling manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gullion is trying to break the clinch but Stirling has him pressed against the cage. Gullion breaks the clinch.
Stirling moves out of range of the body kick from Gullion.
Stirling scores with a punch to the head. Stirling throws an off balance right hand
and Gullion cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gullion leaves Stirling with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stirling scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Stirling shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gullion defends it nicely. Olliver Gullion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alastair Stirling. Stirling loads up on a big right hand but Gullion slips the punch. That's two minutes gone in the round. Gullion uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stirling. Stirling misses with a lunging right hand
and Gullion counters with a nice kick to the body. Both fighters circling a little - Gullion finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Stirling swings and misses with a shot to the body and Gullion counters with a lovely shot to the body. Stirling cracks Gullion with a right hand to the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A thudding body kick lands there by Gullion!
Alastair Stirling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Gullion. Stirling is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Stirling might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Stirling tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gullion manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The fighters circle momentarily. Gullion darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Stirling shoots for a takedown but Gullion saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Stirling throws a right hand that misses
enabling Gullion to counter with a crisp jab. Stirling moves out of range as Gullion throws a body kick.
Stirling throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stirling swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Stirling swings widly with a right hand
and Gullion counters with a huge head kick that drops Stirling! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Olliver Gullion! Olliver Gullion is the new welterweight champion! Olliver Gullion decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
