Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wolfram Stelzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stelzer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Satyricon - K.I.N.G.. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Wolfram Stelzer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leandro Jones! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stelzer feints and then cracks Jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jones down. A solid leg kick lands there for Stelzer.
A head kick misses from Jones. Jones has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Stelzer blocks a head kick by Jones.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jones gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Stelzer. A head kick misses from Jones. Jones moves in looking to clinch but Stelzer pushes him off. Jones rushes Stelzer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Stelzer gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Stelzer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stelzer throwing strikes but missing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stelzer trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've been hearing good reports from Stelzer's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Stelzer pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard. Stelzer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stelzer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Stelzer not landing any meaningful shots this time. Stelzer controlling the action here. Jones is not content to let Stelzer control the position. Stelzer seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Stelzer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Stelzer thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stelzer connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple. Stelzer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Stelzer throws a strike but Jones avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Stelzer throwing strikes but missing. Stelzer sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stelzer throwing strikes from guard but Jones blocks nicely. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Stelzer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jones moves out of range as Stelzer strikes. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Stelzer moves out of range easily. Stelzer circles away from the clinch attempt letting Stelzer counter with a right hand. Stelzer on the wrong end of a nice hook. Stelzer lands a right hook to the body.
Stelzer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jones looks to land a combination but Stelzer avoids it well. Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stelzer. Stelzer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jones has closed the distance and engaged Stelzer in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stelzer misses with a body punch.
Jones doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Stelzer prevents Jones from breaking the clinch. Jones works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stelzer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head. Jones ducks under a wild hook from Stelzer. Stelzer blocks a head kick by Jones.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stelzer. Jones pushes Stelzer up against the cage in a clinch. Jones working some nice short punches in the clinch. Jones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stelzer has him pressed against the cage. Jones tries to throw a body punch but Stelzer avoids it by throwing Jones back against the cage. Jones misses with some punches.
Jones struggles to land a body shot inside as Stelzer controls his hands.
Jones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Stelzer has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Wolfram Stelzer will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones throws a head kick but Stelzer moves out of range.
Stelzer shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Jones is looking to clinch. Stelzer will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stelzer. Jones throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Stelzer's head. Stelzer attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Stelzer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Leandro Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones moves out of range of the leg kick from Stelzer. Jones lands a jab. Stelzer blocks a head kick by Jones.
Jones lands with a slapping head kick. This has been an exciting period of action! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jones checks a leg kick. Jones tries to clinch but Stelzer moves out of range. Stelzer gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch. Stelzer blocks an elbow strike. Jones tries to break the clinch but Stelzer is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stelzer managing to block the knees to the body from Jones.
Jones looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones moves out of range as Stelzer strikes. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stelzer attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Jones clobbers Stelzer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Jones scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stelzer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Stelzer motions for Jones to come forward. Stelzer throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Jones scores with a hook. A decent looking cross lands there for Jones. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones avoids the body shot from Stelzer.
Stelzer misses with a looping left. Stelzer misses with a low kick. Stelzer throws a big shot that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to clinch up but Stelzer circles away and keeps his distance. Jones ducks under a wild hook from Stelzer. Stelzer lands with a cross. No luck with that takedown attempt from Stelzer. Jones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

A little feinted left hand from Stelzer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Stelzer throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Leandro Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Stelzer missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Stelzer just misses with a punch to the body.

Stelzer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Stelzer thows a left - swing and a miss! Stelzer scores with a decent looking hook. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Stelzer lands a right hook to the body.

A slow jab from Stelzer misses its intended target. Jones throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stelzer. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Stelzer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Stelzer misses with a leg kick. Stelzer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Jones lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Jones rushes Stelzer and presses him up against the cage. Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stelzer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jones has time to react. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Stelzer moves out of range easily. Stelzer throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Jones checks a leg kick. Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Wolfram Stelzer will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Stelzer throws a body shot but no joy. Despite the aggression on Jones's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jones takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Stelzer scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Stelzer throws a leg kick but Jones moved away. Stelzer shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jones misses with a double jab.
Stelzer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones. Stelzer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily. That kick from Stelzer tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on. Jones misses with a head kick.
The fighters circling - Stelzer throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jones throws a head kick but Stelzer moves out of range.

Stelzer throws a leg kick which misses Jones's front leg but catches the back leg as Jones tries to avoid it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones wants to clinch up but Stelzer keeps it at a distance. Jones moves out of range of the strikes. A cross from Jones lands. Stelzer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Stelzer lands with an overhand left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stelzer feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Stelzer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Stelzer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jones's guard. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jones avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stelzer. Jones is trying to stand.
Stelzer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Jones keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Stelzer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Stelzer content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Stelzer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Leandro Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wolfram Stelzer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stelzer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Stelzer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Stelzer passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jones! Stelzer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jones to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jones shrugs it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stelzer working Jones over with strikes here. Stelzer punishing his opponent with strikes. Stelzer punching from mount but Jones doing a good job of avoiding damage. Wolfram Stelzer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stelzer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stelzer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
And that's the end of the fight! Wolfram Stelzer showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stelzer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
