Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alec Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew Bone will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alec Norris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Bone!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Francis DeMontford.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bone shoots in and gets a takedown into Norris's guard.
Norris managing to control the position.
Bone wants to control from the top but Norris keeps moving.
Bone is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bone wants to pass the guard but Norris is keeping the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Norris preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bone trying to stand up but can't free himself from Norris's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bone slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Andrew Bone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bone drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Norris's face as Bone controls the position.

Bone decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Norris darts in and clinches Bone up against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Norris goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
With the fighters up against the cage, Bone throws an elbow but misses.

Bone gets control of Norris's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bone will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Bone is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Norris is aware though and is defending well.
Norris really is a fat lump.
Bone working a defensive guard here.
Norris controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Norris in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Norris throws a big elbow that misses.
Bone wants to sweep but no luck.
Norris is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bone looking to control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Norris rushes Bone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bone pulls Norris into guard.
Norris wants to control from the top but Bone keeps moving.
Norris working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Norris controls from within his opponent's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bone keeping moving, preventing Norris from controlling successfully.

Bone looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Norris has picked Bone up and slammed him! Bone can't keep hold of the triangle and Norris manages to pass to side control!
Bone trying to control but Norris flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Norris throwing strikes and Bone squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted.
Bone is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Norris content just to control the position here.
Bone tries to lock up and control but Norris gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Andrew Bone will probably get the nod.
That's time! Norris's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Norris closes the distance and clinches.

Norris manages to break the clinch.

Bone looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Norris!
Bone tries to advance to mount but Norris denies him.
Norris might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bone in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Andrew Bone has got the better of the ground game so far.
Norris tries to bench press Bone off him but Bone keeps the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Norris tries to escape but Bone is in control.
Norris trying to remain calm as Bone controls from the top position.
Bone taking a break here but Norris is having none of it and regains half guard.
Norris won't allow Bone to pass to mount.

Norris actively working from the bottom here.
Bone trying to mount his opponent but Norris defends it.

Bone is working for a submission of some sort.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bone thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Norris's head.

Bone is working for an americana but Norris has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Bone was thinking about the submission.

Norris has an active guard here but Bone has managed to pass into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Norris is holding on to half guard well.
Norris wants to get back to full guard.
Norris keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Norris rushes Bone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Norris is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Norris prevents Bone from breaking the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bone can't break the clinch.

Norris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Norris clinches.
Norris stalling against the cage.

Norris pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Norris has taken the fight to the clinch.
Norris displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bone up against the cage.
Bone struggles to land a body shot inside as Norris controls his hands.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Norris manages to break the clinch.
Norris is looking to clinch but Bone is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alec Norris dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Bone tries to clinch there but Norris circles away.

Norris gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bone to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Norris wants to stand up but Bone is controlling him.
Bone is standing up over Norris. Norris looks to escape but Bone dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Norris is trying to escape the position but Bone is controlling the position.

Bone looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bone postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Bone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Norris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bone trying to control the action but Norris is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Norris is trying to control Bone's posture but Bone avoids it.
Norris is not content to let Bone control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bone is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Norris's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bone slows the pace down in half guard.
Bone missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Norris keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bone in particular looking to stall.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bone thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Norris's head.
Norris is staying active underneath Bone, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
The fight stays on the outside here - Norris looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bone throws a combination. Norris tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like Alec Norris has been cut.
Norris wants to clinch up but Bone keeps it at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight!
Andrew Bone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bone has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
