Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darius Kasparaitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boe Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kasparaitis comes into the arena with Gotta Get Away blaring out of the sound system. Boe Hogan acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darius Kasparaitis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boe Hogan! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogan scores with a push kick. Kasparaitis lands a jab to the head.
Hogan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Hogan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hogan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hogan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kasparaitis under the eye. A shot to the liver by Hogan. Beautiful body shot. Hogan misses the jab. It looked like Kasparaitis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Kasparaitis moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kasparaitis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kasparaitis. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kasparaitis turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Kasparaitis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kasparaitis scores with a leg kick.
Hogan connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Kasparaitis chopping away at his opponent's legs.

and Kasparaitis counters with a straight right hand. Kasparaitis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kasparaitis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hogan on the side of the head. Kasparaitis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hogan manages to avoid it. Hogan scores with a hook to the body. Kasparaitis takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Hogan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kasparaitis showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Hogan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kasparaitis's guard. Hogan throws a big right hand that misses. Kasparaitis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kasparaitis is looking for a triangle but Hogan pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kasparaitis has his hands on Hogan's head, controlling the position. Kasparaitis tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kasparaitis has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hogan has passed into side control.
Kasparaitis is not content to let Hogan control the position. Kasparaitis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan working the ground and pound from side control. Kasparaitis is looking for a sweep. Kasparaitis being controlled for a moment. Hogan is looking to take a break and control but Kasparaitis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hogan in side control, throwing shots but Kasparaitis defends. Kasparaitis sneaks back into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kasparaitis gets back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kasparaitis wants to improve his position but instead Hogan has moved into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hogan is keen to just control but Kasparaitis is a slippery customer. Hogan slips a nice elbow through Kasparaitis's hands, connecting with Kasparaitis's forehead. Kasparaitis wants to control but Hogan passes into side.
Kasparaitis tries to bench press Hogan off him but Hogan keeps the position. Kasparaitis prevents Hogan from moving into mount. Hogan lands a few punches from side control. Kasparaitis is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Hogan is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Kasparaitis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Boe Hogan will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hogan throws a front kick aimed at Kasparaitis's knee but Kasparaitis avoids it well. Hogan lands a jab to the head.
A good leg kick by Kasparaitis. Hogan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kasparaitis sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hogan throws a hook but Kasparaitis blocks it. Kasparaitis tried to counter with a leg kick but Hogan avoided it. Hogan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kasparaitis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Hogan throws a shot to the body.
Hogan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Hogan throws a lazy right hand but Kasparaitis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hogan jabs Kasparaitis to the body, keeping him at a distance. Kasparaitis has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hogan. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A head kick misses from Hogan. Kasparaitis closes the distance and lands a one-two. Hogan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Hogan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Hogan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kasparaitis. Hogan shrugs it off though. Kasparaitis looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hogan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nice body kick there by Kasparaitis. Good work by Kasparaitis as he checks the leg kick. An inside leg kick lands from Kasparaitis. Hogan feints and then cracks Kasparaitis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kasparaitis down. A jab from Hogan misses. Good standup being displayed there by Hogan as he connects with a hook. Kasparaitis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Hogan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kasparaitis misses the body punch and Hogan counters with a right hand to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kasparaitis blocks a jab. Hogan throws a hook but Kasparaitis blocks it. Hogan throws a sloppy body shot
and Kasparaitis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kasparaitis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Hogan tries a low kick but Kasparaitis avoids it. Hogan connects with a looping right hand.
Kasparaitis darts in and clinches Hogan up against the cage. Hogan lands a shoulder strike. Kasparaitis struggles to land a body shot inside as Hogan controls his hands.
Hogan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kasparaitis working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kasparaitis blocks a body shot from Hogan. Kasparaitis throws a head punch that misses. Kasparaitis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kasparaitis throws a shot from downtown. Hogan moves away and avoids it. Hogan dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hogan throws the kick towards the body but Kasparaitis avoids it. Good work by Kasparaitis as he checks the leg kick. Kasparaitis closes the distance but Hogan moves to the side and Hogan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan throws a sloppy head kick and Kasparaitis moves out of range easily. An attempted straight right counter from Kasparaitis misses the target. Kasparaitis blocks a low kick nicely. Hogan throws a sloppy head kick and Kasparaitis moves out of range easily. Kasparaitis throws a push kick but Hogan slaps the foot to one side. Hogan connects with an inside leg kick. Kasparaitis looks for the body kick but Hogan saw that one coming. Kasparaitis looks to score with a jab to the body but Hogan is just out of range. Hogan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kasparaitis.
Kasparaitis throws out a leg kick but Hogan moves out of range and Kasparaitis only half commits. Hogan is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Hogan tests Kasparaitis's chin there with a solid looking shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Hogan. Kasparaitis does a little dance to reset his feet. Kasparaitis swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Hogan misses the shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Kasparaitis misses. A good leg kick by Kasparaitis. A slapping leg kick lands for Kasparaitis.

Kasparaitis half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Hogan's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Hogan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kasparaitis paws at him with a jab and circles away. The crowd cheers as Hogan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kasparaitis doesn't seem phased though. Jab, jab by Kasparaitis - just one landing. Kasparaitis throws a nice inside leg kick. Kasparaitis misses with a few strikes there.
Kasparaitis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hogan. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hogan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kasparaitis. Kasparaitis obviously looking to wear him down.
Some bone on bone action there as Hogan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Boe Hogan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hogan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hogan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kasparaitis under the eye. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Boe Hogan will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Kasparaitis lands with a cross. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hogan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kasparaitis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kasparaitis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kasparaitis appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Hogan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kasparaitis to the ground. Hogan is now in Kasparaitis's guard. Hogan with a flurry of punches that miss. Kasparaitis trying to control the position.
Hogan trying to control but Kasparaitis is working from the bottom. Hogan is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kasparaitis throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hogan uses it to pass to side control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kasparaitis defending against the ground and pound. Hogan is trying to get an arm triangle but Kasparaitis is defending well. A lull in the action here as Hogan stalls from top position. Hogan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kasparaitis keeps working. Kasparaitis manages to get back to half guard. Hogan controlling the action here. Darius Kasparaitis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hogan trying to control the action but Kasparaitis is working from the bottom. Hogan passes into side control, despite Kasparaitis's attempt to control the position.
Kasparaitis parries the strikes from Hogan easily there. Hogan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kasparaitis to escape.
Hogan working the ground and pound but Kasparaitis is defending the strikes. Kasparaitis trying to remain calm as Hogan controls from the top position. You can see the frustration on Kasparaitis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hogan wants to control but Kasparaitis is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kasparaitis is trying to improve his position. Hogan cracks Kasparaitis with a big right hand but Kasparaitis just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Kasparaitis is looking to reverse the position. Hogan controlling from side mount. Hogan working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hogan moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A clash of legs there as Hogan blocks the low kick. Boe Hogan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kasparaitis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Hogan jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hogan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kasparaitis under the eye. Hogan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kasparaitis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kasparaitis sets himself, and Hogan steps forward looking for the clinch! Kasparaitis avoids it this time. Kasparaitis misses the shot to the body. Hogan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Hogan clobbers Kasparaitis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Kasparaitis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hogan's head. Kasparaitis throws a chopping leg kick but Hogan manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Hogan is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kasparaitis throws a poor cross that misses
and Hogan counters with a straight right hand. Kasparaitis scores with a kick to the body.
Kasparaitis misses with a wild body shot. Hogan lands a body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Boe Hogan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hogan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
