Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dre Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Pedro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Still comes to the cage accompanied by Krayzie Bone - Silent Warrior. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dre Still!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Pedro!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Pedro throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Still displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pedro throws out the jab.
Pedro throws a lazy right hand but Still sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Still half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Pedro jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Pedro counters by clinching up.

Pedro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Good shot there by Still.

Pedro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Still bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pedro's guard.

Dre Still seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Still lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Pedro throws a series of punches but Still moves out of range.

enabling Pedro to counter with a crisp jab.

Pedro turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Pedro throws a right and a left that Still avoids nicely.
Still swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pedro now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

It seemed like Pedro was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Pedro makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Still has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pedro finds it's way round the side to connect with Still's head.

and Still decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pedro's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Still sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pedro's guard.

Pedro felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Still thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pedro's head.

Still seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pedro does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Still postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pedro is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Still, into his guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pedro's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Still escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pedro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

I would just about give that final round to George Pedro.
I think Pedro has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
